CFNN Hosts Successful Speedy Spring Networking Event
CHICAGO – The Chicago Food and Nutrition Network (CFNN) hosted their Speedy Spring Networking event on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at Centered Chef Food Studios (171 N. Ada Street, Suite 101, Chicago IL 60607), to celebrate the season of blooming and flourishing. Over 25 members gathered to celebrate the first day of spring this year with CFNN, where they connected with other food and nutrition professionals in an exciting, high-impact, and structured environment. During this valuable experience, attendees had the opportunity to create and develop at least fifteen new relationships during three rounds of formal networking.
“The Speedy Spring Networking event brought out the energy and excitement in Chicago’s finest food and nutrition professionals!” touts Jenny Westerkamp, RD, the Chicago Food and Nutrition Network’s President-Elect. “Hosted at an awe-inspiring location, attendees left feeling fully satisfied with not only the food and drink, but the inspiring new relationships formed as a result of this amazing experience.”
The evening began promptly at 7:00 pm with appetizers and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), followed by a dazzling food demonstration from special guest, Chef Ryan Hutmacher, with the formal networking experience to follow.
Over 25 members gathered for the food demo followed by a formal networking activity. Each attendee was able to meet and introduce themselves to one another, business cards were exchanged, leads were developed, connections were made, and much fun was had at this energizing event. The CFNN plans to host another event just like it next year, so stay tuned for future event information!
