CFNN Members Enjoyed Local Brews During Goose Island Brewery Tour
CHICAGO – The Chicago Food and Nutrition Network (CFNN) hosted a great brewery tour at Chicago’s own Goose Island Brewery <<1800 N. Clybourn Ave. >> on Tuesday May 15, 2012 to discover the history of Chicago’s well-known brewery. The group had over 40 people attend to network with old and new friends over drinks. Throughout the tour attendees learned about the brewing system and some interesting facts on Goose Island beer.
“The Goose Island Brewery event was a great success and everyone was able to network and learn a lot of interesting facts about Chicago’s own brewery and the whole brewing process!” said Kathleen Brady, MBA, RD, the CFNN’s Vice President.
The evening began at 6:30 pm with networking, followed by the brewery tour and a great sampling session of six different kinds of tasty beers.
